Our very first #PadHerSustainably Outreach in partnership with Lead Them Right Foundation was a success and our hearts are so full.

With the theme “Menstruation and Dignity,” we created a safe and empowering space where every girl could learn, ask questions and feel seen.

We started by helping the girls understand their period without shame, breaking the silence and reminding them that menstruation is natural and nothing to be embarrassed about.

We also shared how they can care and carry themselves with dignity, even during their period.

Next, we had a powerful conversation on protecting their dignity and self-worth.

Then we moved into sustainable menstrual practices after exposing them to all other options available in managing menstruation.

During our demonstration session, they were shown how to properly use and care for reusable pads, and each girl received pads and detergent to support her going forward.

We ended with The Love Message, a moment to remind them of God’s love for them as they journey through life and aspire to become more regardless of perceived limitations.

This was more than an outreach.

This was a step towards raising confident girls who can manage their periods with knowledge, dignity and pride.
